Fooddadi Style: Cheezy tuna pesto and mushroom noodles
I've been learning to cook for quite a while now. The Fooddadi Style series will document this side of Fooddadi. Feedback, good or bad is truly appreciated. It will help me improve this series. Again, this series is a journal of my cooking following some popular recipes. Some of the ingredients may be lacking or the order of putting the ingredients in may be incorrect.
The format for now will be ingredients, finished product and then learnings. Here we go.
The ingredients
I wanted to make something quick and simple yet tasty. Inspired by those Tasty videos, I bought a few ingredients. Not in the picture are the egg noodles and usual pinoy aromatics (garlic and onions).
The cooking
Cook the noodles as directed in the pack and set aside. With a deep pot, saute some garlic and onions (use some of the oil from the can to add more flavor. Add the tuna and mushrooms that were thickly sliced. After a while, add the noodles and some cheese and pour in the pesto. It is better to use a tong to mix them all up. When the cheese has melted, transfer them to a serving bowl.
