Miyazaki: Serving with a smile

We were slowly heading home from a trip down south. It was the weekend and it just rained. So traffic and the inability to drive a bit faster made us hungry. Unable to agree where to eat, I decided that we would eat at our ramen place at Molito in Alabang Muntinlupa. Unfortunately, given that it was a weekend, the place was packed. So opportunity now presented for us to try another Japanese restaurant in Molito.

When we got to Miyazaki the place had some diners already; so we got a table quickly. Since it was our first time here, we ordered the staple Shio/Shoyu ramen, sushi, gyoza and kani salad.

The food was good. The ramen was tasty and the serving size was enough to fill your stomach. The tuna sushi was also good and the wasabi they used was the one we like best. The kind that even a little, will creep up your nose. The kani salad was quite tasty and refreshing to the palette. The gyoza however had a more ginger taste into than what we would usually have and enjoy. Maybe we are not just that fond of that strong ginger taste inside the filling.

But aside the food, what actually surprised me was the cheerful mood of the staff. That cheerfulness is quite contagious. They were not even shy when I took a picture of them. Some of them even posed for the shot. And they are not just cheerful, they are also very knowledgable about their product. The waiters and waitresses were able to suggest items that suited what the guests wants.

I enjoyed our visit there that I have already thought to bring my daughter here when she makes "lambing" on eating sushi.

Special shoutout to the staff of Miyazaki: "Keep smiling :)"
